Ninja baby

So for miss Kaja's first Halloween, I'm going to make her a ninja onesie, though a shark would probably be more appropriate considering her stealth biting ability.

I've also recently decided to throw out what everyone has been saying about babies and sleep. If she's going to nap on me sometimes, that's fine by me, and she'll sleep through the night when she's ready, but, until then, I'm going to enjoy spending time together at night. It feels like we push babies to be independent way too soon...but, they're babies, not adults!

This blog is a space for my ramblings as I go through life attempting to live in a compassionate way, sometimes successfully, sometimes not so successfully.  Hopefully you'll get some laughs as a big part of living this way is finding joy in the daily battles of life...

For example, I was inspired to start this up again while trying to figure out the difference between normal and abnormal baby poop...someone could find that helpful, or at least an amusing-to-read-about-first-time-mom-neurosis, take your pick.
